Dr. Ott is a Wisconsin native, having grown up in Marshfield. Her strong midwest values are evident in the relationships she creates with patients and team members alike.
Prior to entering Marquette University School of Dentistry, Dr. Ott attended the University of Wisconsin – Madison where she earned dual majors in biology and Spanish. After dental school, Dr. Ott extended her dedication and pursuit of clinical excellence with an advanced General Practice Residency at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle. Her residency helped shape her clinical philosophy which is centered around the belief that patients should be well informed to take an active role in making the best treatment decisions for their desired outcomes and dental health.
Dr. Ott is thrilled to be at home in Wisconsin and a partner at Sauk Trail Dental. Building relationships with her patients and the community are important to her. In her free time she enjoys a wide variety of activities including cooking, reading, gardening, traveling, snowboarding, boating and hiking. She looks forward to enjoying the many events that take place in Saukville and the surrounding communities.
Dr. Jeff Dean
Dr. Dean is a native of Appleton, WI and has practiced dentistry and lived in the Milwaukee area for over 30 years. He is the father of four grown children and currently resides in the Slinger area, where he has been enjoying the country life since 2010.
- UW-Stevens Point, Undergraduate Study 1972 – 1975
- Marquette University Dental School 1975 – 1979
Dr. Dean feels that, aside from good home care, prevention and regular check-ups are the most important factors in maintaining good oral health. “I feel it’s important to communicate with patients to make sure they understand their care. When making recommendations for treatment, I ask myself, ‘What would I do if this were my situation?’”
Dr. Dean has taken advanced continuing education courses in dental implants, endodontics, and courses with emphasis on new dental materials in crowns and routine fillings. He also has an interest in cosmetic dentistry. Providing root canal therapy and the removal of teeth, both routine and surgical when necessary, is also within the scope of his practice.
When away from dentistry, Dr. Dean spends his summers sailboat racing on Big Cedar Lake, hiking the local Ice Age Trails, landscaping, gardening, and biking. In the winter, he enjoys downhill and cross country skiing and snowshoeing. His free time is also spent with photography, cooking and wine tasting. He enjoys listening to local blues bands and is an experienced swing dancer, although he promises not to dance in the office. Oh, and he has a dry sense of humor too!
