Does teeth whitening have side effects?
The only side effect of teeth whitening is minor tooth sensitivity. This will usually go away within a week or two after your treatment. If your teeth feel very sensitive, we recommend switching to an anti-sensitivity toothpaste like Sensodyne to help reduce sensitivity.
How long will my teeth stay white?
This depends on how well you care for your teeth. You can expect each whitening treatment to last between 1-3 years. If you brush and floss properly, see Dr. Rosenberg for regular teeth cleanings, and reduce your intake of staining beverages (coffee, tea, and wine) your results may last much longer. We also offer regular yearly touch-up treatments, which will help you keep your teeth white for years to come.
